Ariana Grande Announces Partnership with BetterHelp to Give Away $3,000,000 in Free Therapy

The taboo placed upon mental health and therapy has remained steadfast within both the African American and religious communities. It's wonderful to see celebrities such as Ariana Grande use their platform to highlight its importance within mainstream media.

However, as times have changed and awareness has spread the ignorance surrounding the importance of seeking the help of a therapist for mental health issues and assistance has grown.

Grammy award winning artist, Ariana Grande, announced on Tuesday she would be partnering with Better Help in order to donate 1 million dollars worth of free therapy to fans as well as the public.

Grande captioned her announcement post saying, "thrilled to be working with @betterhelp to give away $1,000,000 of free therapy! While acknowledging that therapy should not be for a privileged few but something everyone has access to, and acknowledging that this doesn't fix that issue in the long run, I really wanted to do this anyway in hopes of inspiring you to dip a toe in, to feel okay asking for help, and to hopefully rid your minds of any sort of self judgement in doing so! I hope that you'll take advantage of this opportunity and go to betterhelp.com/ariana to be matched with a licensed therapist for one free month."

However, they have now announced today they will be offering triple that number and will now be offering a whopping 3 million dollars in therapy according to a tweet posted by the Better Help Twitter page.

The company stated, "Together w/ @arianagrande we have donated over $million in therapy. We're thrilled to see so many of you taking this step in your mental health journey. If you didn't get a chance to sign up for a free month, you can still get 15% off your first month."

To take advantage of this gift of be sure to head to Better Help and sign up whilst this free month trial is available!
